Not deep enough for a start... but very good otherwise.. This a song about Jack Ketch.. famous in Devon and Cornwall. When I was young 40years ago. We used to keep the pubs open with choir practice! lol A shut in, towels over the pumps, drinking cider, that the rev men never saw. Amazing how many of the local cops were part of the choir. If there was a problem, we would sit outside on the Foundry wall and sing. Led by Robert 'Boomer' Barron,,Dukie or just Bob..Going up Cambourne hilll, coming down...Tom pearce, Tom Pearce..Sort of rude rugby versions of songs...

I return to this song every year even when it's barely December, because this is the first song I think of when Christmas time approaches and cause it's such an addicting song. It makes me remember that in life, you - yourself is the only person in life that you should rely on to make you happy. (Unless you have a wife/kids etc.) 7 years on and counting! The more things change, the more they stay the same. Happy holidays, everyone!
